Formulated to use in select high-speed four-stroke cycle diesel engines and designed to meet 2017 model on-highway greenhouse gas (GHG) emission standards. This is formulated to use in on-highway applications with diesel fuel sulfur content up to 15 ppm (0.0015% by weight). It is blended to a high temperature and shear (HTHS) viscosity range of 2.9 cP to 3.2 cP to reduce GHG emissions. It is especially effective on sustaining the durability of control system emission where particle filters and other advanced aftertreatment systems are used. It is designed to provide enhanced protection against oil oxidation and viscosity loss due to shear and oil aeration as well as protection against catalyst poisoning, particulate filter blocking, engine wear, piston deposits, degradation of low-high-temperature properties and soot-related viscosity increament.
